Peeling with a Kesse glove is a traditional oriental procedure for deep cleansing of the skin, which is performed in a hammam (Turkish steam room). The main tool is a special Kessa glove made of hard, textured fabric that allows you to effectively remove dead skin cells.

  • Skin preparation: The guest warms up in a hammam or steam sauna. Hot steam helps open pores, softens the skin and makes it more receptive to deep cleansing.
  • Preparation of the glove: Kesse's glove is soaked in warm water. The procedure is often combined with the use of black soap (beldi) - a natural soap based on olive oil, which additionally softens the skin.
  • Peeling process: With soft but intense circular movements, the therapist massages the body with a glove, removing keratinized cells. Visible rolled-up particles of dead cells appear on the skin - this is evidence of the effectiveness of the procedure.
  • Washing: After scrubbing, the body is thoroughly washed with warm water.
